So Eid is finally around the corner matak matak ke and we cannot contain our excitement. So once you are done with 14th August this year, waving your flags and sporting your fancy 14th august t shirts , you have another festive in line waiting to be celebrated. Eid ul Adha.
Eid and cricket are the two occasions in Pakistan which are celebrated with excitement at its peak. The hype and the tayyarian are eqviualent for both except the fact that when its a cricket match you won’t sleep in between, however there is a completely different story in Eid when it comes to sleeping.
From eating all that they have, to flaunting their joras in front of their cousins, every Pakistani has the similar Eid story every year.
Eid ki namaz ke baad eid ki hugs
The customary hugs you get/give after Eid prayers are nice and IMPORTANT.
Qurbani and the rituals..
The time to bid farewell to your Qurbani animal comes and you cannot contain the anxiety of losing your friend cum qurbani ka janwar.
You watch cancerous Eid Morning shows
Accept it or not, we all are gulity of watching these extremely painful to watch Eid morning shows in which the hosts look more like naubiyahti dulhan than a host. Because you dont have anything else to do.
Their makeup, das man ke kapray, 12 tolay ki jewellery and overacting is too much for the eyes yet you waste your time on a show or two.
This is your only favourite part on Eid. Donning your glad rags. Makeup. Chooriyan.
Your second favourite part.
You’re happy when you have to go to an Eid dawat. While your heart cries when you’re having guests over on Eid. This kills. It’s painful. IT SHOULD BE BANNED.
Who wore what!
If you do not flaunt your Eid ka jora in front of your cousins and brag about the designer, are you even Pakistani? Oh and since the NAYA PAKISTAN season is on, you might just want to put on an Imran Khan t shirts on, no? No?! Okay.
Eidi doesn’t excite you anymore. (Because you don’t get it)
This is exactly how every typical Pakistani spends his/her Eid. So once you are done with the celebration of Independence Day, prep up to welcome the coolest festivity of the year!
