It’s that time of year again when every youngster and adult gets obsessed with cricket. Cricket has long been a passion of ours, and practically every other Pakistani is a fan. It’s a game full of emotions of prediction and excitement that makes us all anxious. There is a certain type of anticipation of victory in PSL. As it is a contest between all of Pakistan’s cities, there is good competitiveness among our fellow cricketers.
In the Pakistan Super League, overseas cricketers also join reputed individual teams and play along with our Pakistani players. This seventh season of the PSL has intensified curiosity in predicting which city will win the trophy.
The seventh season of the PSL (Pakistan Super League) will be contested in Karachi and Lahore, beginning on January 27th and ending on February 27th.
Teams of PSL 2022
Pakistan has six teams competing in the PSL that includes,
Salman Iqbal owns the Karachi Kings, a Sindh provincial team. Many significant and well-known international players are included, like Colin Ingram, Chadwick Walton, Babar Azam, Mohammad Amir, and others.
The Karachi Kings logo depicts a lion, which represents the spirit and resilience of Karachi.
It represents Punjab, and owned by Fawad Rana.
Lahore Qalandar’s players include David Wiese, Harry Brooke, Fakhar Zaman, Shaheen Afridi, and others.
The term Qalandar is included in the name to highlight the city’s Sufi tradition.
It is the only team that has won the PSL twice, in 2016 and 2017, with well-known Pakistani and international players.
Colin Munro, Alex Hales, Shadab Khan, Hassan Ali, and others play for Islamabad United. The logo depicts a line, which expresses pride, majesty, and confidence.
It is the Balochistan team, led by our very own Sarfaraz Ahmed. They had previously played terrific cricket. Quetta Gladiators players include James Vince, Benn Duckett, Shahid Afridi, and Umer Akmal, among others.

on top representing swords and a warrior.
Javed Afridi is the owner of the Pashtoons and the winner of the PSL-2. Darren Sammy is the primary foreign player in P.Z. Peshawar Zalmi will also be represented by Shoaib Malik, Kamran Akmal, and other Pakistani players. In Pushto, the term Zalmi in Peshawar Zalmi often signifies ‘Youth.’
Multan Sultans is a new addition in PSL last year, representing south Punjab in the captaincy of Mohammad Rizwan. Both Javed Afridi is the owner of the Pashtoons and the winner of the PSL-2. Darren Sammy is the primary foreign player in P.Z. Peshawar Zalmi will also be represented by Shoaib Malik, Kamran Akmal, and other Pakistani players. In Pushto, the term Zalmi in Peshawar Zalmi often signifies ‘Youth.’and Pakistani players are included like Imran Khan, Rowman Powell, Rumman Raees Blessing Muzarabani etc. The logo represents ‘sultan’ riding a horse who has a cricket bat in hands that shows the passion of cricket of the people hailing from South Punjab.
