Come August, it’s school time! Now, some people would not share the same enthusiasm when it comes to going back to school. Can’t really blame them, not everyone has had absolutely no plans for the summer. Not everyone wasted away each and every moment since the past two months and certainly not everyone has been going on long vacations and trips all over the world. In a nutshell, it’s been boring as hell. With the schools reopening this week, the excitement is all over the top. Let’s take a detailed look about everything we’re looking forward to!
The Preps (Stationery, Back-Packs etc.)
Perhaps, the best part about school starting is getting all the new stuff! From getting loads of brand new stationery to getting yourself a super-cool backpack; it’s something kids look forward to every year. Heck, we are all kids at heart. Nothing can compete with the joy and satisfaction of a big stationery shop haul.
The I-hope-my-best-friend-and-I-are-in-the-same-section stress
Ending up in a different section than your best friend is a complete nightmare. No one would wish it upon their worst enemies! Imagining being on your own without your best class buddy seems so harsh. It’s like marching into a battlefield all alone. The stress and anxiety is real, every year. Who would you sneakily eat lunch with during class without them? Who would you pass notes to, making fun of the teacher’s hair or something.. walking up to class alone seems nothing less than horrid.
Finally Having A Proper Sleeping Routine
Let’s face it, the routine has been terribly bad all summer. Weird sleep timings—staying up all night and sleeping all day. Meh, no wonder those dark circles have made a home under your eyes. After spending half the day at school and the rest doing the homework and everything, you can credit a long good night’s sleep to yourself. Even though it’s going to give you hell; having to wake up so early in the morning after so many days but eventually you’re going to settle in and everything is going to fall back in place. Can’t guarantee turning into a morning person though.
Spending all summer away from everywhere gets so boring. When you spend five days a week with a certain bunch of people everywhere, you do get attached to them. An unbreakable bond with your best buddies, as precious as friendship can be. It’s quite nice to see everyone again, after a while. Realizing some people grew a lot more than others did! Heh.
The Tales From The Friends Who Travelled To Far Off Places
If you didn’t get to travel this summer, doesn’t mean no one did. You can feel better by hearing all the tales and stories about the places your friends travelled to, the things they saw, the adventures they came across, the fun they had! Let’s not forget the gifts they get you from abroad!
