The two days (ND2C) National Digital Design Conference 2018 was hosted in Islamabad at Serena Hotel from 29 September 2018 to 30 September 2018. This creative ND2C conference was powered by Graana.com.
Nida Salman and Sana Khalid joint their hands together and engaged different creative designers and other professionals to stand on the same platform and learn by sharing each other’s experience. The main purpose of this conference is to give a boost to the local talent of Pakistan. National Digital Design Conference was attended by around 700 plus creative thinker, marketers, and techno-savvy from Pakistan. Six international enthusiasts also appear to share their thoughts and experiences in a live session.
The Warehouse at ND2C 2018
The Warehouse was the Live Design Challenge partner at ND2C event. In Live Design Challenge, only 5 contestants got a chance to represent their ideas and designs to the conference’s jury. However, the winner among the designers who participated in the live contest was given a cash prize as well.
This is the second time this event took place and provided an excellent opportunity to the participants to come and showcase their talents and also get a chance to learn from the experiences of international and local experts.
The “Creative Fair” was one of the best parts of ND2C event. In this session, 14 artists from all across Pakistan provided a platform to new and talented entrepreneur, artists and their innovative projects.
What guests attended the event?
The guests and speakers of this event include a London based information designer, illustrator, and creative director, Valentina D’Efilippo, Laraib Atta, an Oscar-winning VFX artist and Jessica Walsh NewYork based director and art designer. Shafiq Akbar CEO of Graana.com also joined them with Farhan Javed, the director of Graana.com. The visual journalist of Al Jazeera, Alia Chughtai was also there to share her experience among the participants.
The ND2C is one of the very own design movement of Pakistan, which is supported by very promising and corporate giants. These type of events with great speakers aid some of the neglected sector of Pakistan to uplift their talent through their creative powers.
